Plus Office, part of the Nordic compliance group WeKomply, provides smart, user-friendly HR and HSE software that elevates compliance to operational efficiency. . A large share of the people using their software to build safe, productive workplaces are out in the field construction crews, transport and logistics staff, and site-based technicians and they hardly ever sit at a desk.
As Plus Office got more customers, they noticed a growing problem: their HR system was great, but it wasn't easy to use for the people who actually needed it the most.

The core issue was that Plus Office's customers were trying to manage field workers using tools designed for desk jobs. Basically, field workers were totally cut off from the HR system when they needed it most. That disconnect showed up as real operational cost: payroll runs delayed by timesheets that arrived days late, HR staff spending hours each week reconciling paper records against the web system, and compliance visibility gaps around who had actually completed required safety training.

Requirement Analysis
We started by digging into how the current web system handled HR tasks. We talked to the field staff and HR admins to figure out what needed a fresh mobile design and what we could just carry over.
UI/UX Design
We designed the app specifically for mobile, making sure things like clocking in, asking for time off, and doing training took as few taps as possible and worked great even offline.
Mobile Development
We built the app for both iOS and Android using React Native and Ionic. We made sure it could store data offline, sync in the background, and show different views depending on if you're an employee, a supervisor, or in HR.
API Integration
We created APIs to connect the new mobile app right into Plus Office's existing web setup, making sure everything stayed in sync as a single source of truth.
