Hisab App Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application "Hisab - Finance Manager" published by Divtechnosoft. It explains how we handle your account and financial transaction data.

2.2 Financial transaction data

The core purpose of the App is to help you track your income and expenses. You enter this information manually. Depending on how you use the App, this may include:

  • Type (for example, credit / debit, income / expense)
  • Category (for example, salary, rent, food)
  • Description or notes you choose to add
  • Date and time of the transaction
  • Payee / payer details you choose to enter
  • Bill or receipt information you choose to store (if supported)

You are responsible for the content of the data you enter. Please avoid entering sensitive personal information in free‑text fields unless strictly necessary for your own records.

2.3 Usage and analytics data

We use analytics tools (currently Firebase Analytics) to collect aggregated information about how the App is used, such as which screens are used most, general engagement, and technical performance. This may include device information, IP address, app version, and event data related to your use of the App.

3. How we store and process your data

Your data is stored in two main ways:

  • On your device: Certain data is stored locally so the App can function even when you are offline.
  • On our cloud backend: We use a managed database and authentication service hosted in a data center located in the South Asia (Mumbai) region. This allows your data to be backed up and synchronized across devices.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, but no system can be guaranteed 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for securing access to your devices.

4. Advertising and third‑party services

We may show ads in the App using third‑party advertising networks such as Google AdMob. Even if ads are not currently active in your version of the App, this section applies when advertising is enabled.

Advertising and analytics providers may automatically collect information from your device, such as device identifiers, approximate location (if enabled), app usage data, IP address, and technical details. Their use of this information is governed by their own privacy policies.
